Frequently asked questions
- What return should I assume for equity SIPs?
- Long-term Indian equity index returns have historically been in the 10–14% range, but there is no guarantee. Use 10–12% for conservative planning.
- Is a step-up SIP better?
- Yes if your income grows. A 10% yearly step-up can roughly double the final corpus over 15–20 years compared with a flat SIP.
